Terms and conditions

Our Agreement

These terms apply to all mentoring and business support services provided by Simply Support Mentoring ("we", "us") to you ("the client"). By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

We will provide mentoring services with reasonable care and skill. Mentoring is a collaborative process; while we provide expert guidance, you are responsible for the final business decisions you make.

2. Fees and Payment

  • All fees are clearly stated at the time of booking.

  • Payments must be made [e.g., in advance/within 7 days of invoice].

  • If a payment is late, we may pause your sessions until your account is up to date.

3. Your Right to Cancel

  • 14-Day Cooling-Off (Individuals/Consumers): If you are an individual or a micro-business acting as a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel this contract within 14 days of booking for a full refund.

  • Starting Early: If you ask us to start mentoring within this 14-day period, you must pay for any sessions already delivered if you later choose to cancel.

  • Standard Cancellations: For all other clients, we require [e.g., 48 hours] notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged in full.

4. Data Protection & Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. We process your personal data (such as your name and session notes) based on our legitimate interest in providing you with mentoring services. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

5. Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

  • Our total liability for any other losses you suffer is limited to the total amount you have paid us for our services.

6. Resolving Disputes

We want you to be happy with our support. If you have a concern, please contact us at carol@simplysupportmentoring.co.uk so we can try to resolve it through informal negotiation. If we cannot agree, we will look to use mediation before taking any formal legal action.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
